True North Equity Recovery Partners was founded with compassion and purpose. Our story begins with our founder, who worked at a foreclosure firm in Michigan during the 2008 housing collapse. She witnessed firsthand the heartbreak of families losing their homes and being left with nothing — even when money was still owed to them.
That experience inspired her to take a different path — one rooted in integrity, empathy, and hope. At True North, we’re guided by the belief that everyone deserves a chance to recover what’s rightfully theirs and rebuild after hardship. Our name reflects where we come from and what we stand for: helping people find their true north again by reclaiming the surplus funds that can help them move forward.
